Rory Culkin: LIFE'S A SCREAM

Dazed & Confused: May Issue

It’s not that I am completely obsessed with Scream or anything. It just so happens, by pure coincidence that Rory Culkin is on the cover of the May issue of Dazed & Confused, looking all grown up.
For the people who don’t already know, Rory Culkin is the younger and more attractive brother of childhood superstar and childhood crush of mine, Macaulay Culkin. We all remember Macaulay from his Home Alone days and more recently his drug scandal or maybe even his bizarre friendship with Michael Jackson. That aside its Rory’s turn to step in to the limelight, something that he has avoided all together so far.

In an exclusive shoot photographed by Hedi Slimane, Rory talks about his role in the return of Wes Craven’s slasher reboot, Scream 4. I look forward to seeing more of him on the big screen.

It’s a SCRE4M, baby!

Hollywood welcomed horror royalty last night, with the long anticipated fourth installment of the teen slasher film Scream.
There were familiar faces out on the red carpet; Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette were joined by fresh blood in the form of Hayden Panettiere, Emma Roberts and younger brother of Macaulay, Rory Culkin for the premiere of the film, that will be out in cinemas on April 15th.

So what can be expected from the horror genius that is Wes Craven 15 years after the original trilogy? Hopefully not just another copycat killer. A new decade means new rules and maybe even a higher body count. It will be intriguing to see how Craven is going to keep the nostalgia factor for fans of the original franchise (like me), but make it unpredictable for a new generation of horror fanatics.

And a few more surprising faces knocking about at the after party.

Eat the Designers

What’s a birthday without cake? To celebrate Another Magazines 10th birthday the world's leading fashion houses have collaborated with innovative chefs and cake makers who have erected their designs into the grandest cake creations imaginable.
The 10 stylish cakes will be displayed at Selfridges Concept Store during London Fashion Week.
The sweet treats include an explicit tiered cake by Givenchy that can only be viewed through a small peephole and Lanvin’s pearl covered design, topped with a life-sized edible lady. Vivienne Westwood hasn't disappointed either with a heart-shaped cake complete with one of her own illustrations and a selection of cupcakes.

Be My Valentine

If your one of those cynics who thinks that Valentines Day is just a commercial farce, Mulberry might just have the thing to cheer you and your beloved up. It just goes to show that you don’t have to spend a fortune on a present (although a handbag would be nice) to spoil your nearest and dearest.
The luxury brand have teamed up with leading digital artist Daniel Brown to create a sweet Valentine’s gift – “Love Blossoms”- a unique piece of art in the form of a flower featuring Mulberry’s seasonal prints (also perfect for those with pollen allergies) that will grow and bloom in front of your very eyes.
By visiting the Love Blossoms section on the Mulberry website, you can choose from a Mulberry pattern and send the flower seed to your loved one. The recipient then gets an email on February 14th with a link to see their unique seed grow and flower. The design is such that each flower grows uniquely, ‘choosing’ its own organic shape as it would in nature. Each flower is generated so that no two blooms are ever the same.
Another plus - you don’t need a vase, water and the flower wont wither within a week.
